I'd love to participate in this.  It's just what I need to keep me shooting.
As far as the equipment thing is concerned, whilst I sympathise with the 
view about using Leica only equipment, I think Alastair's approach is 
fair and pragmatic.

As far as getting Leica interested, I wonder whether an initial approach 
to LFI magazine might be appropriate once the plans are finalised?
