I believe it was the first state park in the US (I think I remember reading
that on the Park's brochure).
Great to be there?during such a unique event. Sounds like you made wonderful
use of your time?and?VERY much looking forward to your images.
Enjoy Santa Monica. If you want some great fruit, go to one of their
farmer's markets.
As for the M7, I've looked at some recently completed auctions on that site
and they are selling for?a bit more than my asking. KEH has them for a
couple of hundred more in about the same condition. But you are correct, My
M6 sold in 2 days!
Take care and stay verticle.
Best,
Bob

Smartass! Today I do have a good bruise in the corner of my eye! We have
made it to Santa Monica and its nice to have some warmer weather . The ocean
is visible a block away outside our window, cool! Can you believe that we
had six inches of snow on the garden outside our room in LV. One block from
the strip. Red Rock canyon was pretty unique with all of the snow. We were
in a 4WD Hummer and got into the park just before it closed. We went off
road at one point but got stuck in a snow drift after 200 metres. We were
nearly stuck until the rangers came to find us. Once we got out of the snow
drift we made it back onto the road and that was plenty slippery enough on
its own. not good to be sliding without control near large holes in the
ground. The rangers met us in time to send us home from the park which was
all shut down. Tell you what though, I am sore today after my tumbles. But
I've shot a LOT of snow pictures. Sample attached. Its not workedI up into a
proper photo yet but I'm pretty excited for having been there. We shall be
discussing Yosemite at great length, methinks!
I've been trying to sell my M7 for more than 6 months with no luck. Seems
everyone wants M6's. One of those Leica peculiarities. Anyhoo, I can get it
back and keep it now. Just have to try to shoot some film on occasion. I
have a really nice M3 as well.

I would like to sell my M7, 0.72. It's in perfect working order and has been
used to take photos, so there are a few scuff marks, nothing more. I'm the
original owner. It's never been dropped or hammered with my head...
Pictures are here:

Asking $1,650 plus buyer pays UPS shipping and insurance.
Original box, instructions, strap and a Kirk arca plate for those who dare
to use a tripod.
Best,
Bob
