This is a beautiful ballet you're showing here.
Maybe the photos could be adjusted for more light or less contrast 
(except for the first one) provided you managed to retain the colours in 
the plummage?
I'm thinking here of the rendition of Doug Herr's where the background 
is usually much lighter, and yet it doesn't effect the whole picture.
Just my pinch of salt.
You must have been thrilled shooting them :-D
