Please note that the tiny Smart Fortwo is a lot safer in almost every
way than any 1989 Volvo (or any other make). Head on and side
collision survival, roll-over protection and accident avoidance are
all a lot better in any current vehicle sold in North America.
Audis are probably the best in overall real world passenger safety,
and have been for the past 15 years. As a side note, I don't have one
and probably will not.
