Without going deeply into the galleries - my immediate impression of
the work on the opening page:
1. graphic punch
2. design oriented
3. max saturation
not "honest, straightforward documentary photography"
As someone else noted - it would appear that these photographers are
going out and finding punchy, contrasty, saturated color subjects and
exploiting those characteristics to the max in their framing and post
processing.
Your work originated as honest, straightforward, documentary
photography.
It, with some noted exceptions I'm sure, will not easily translate
into the kind of vision exampled on these pages.
