one renders the chocolate so dark as to make it look like
oil or gloss back paint, if you like.
I think that the tone might work better in colour to give the chocolate some
context, maybe. A visual clue. Can we see this in
colour? Food in BW is a hard one, I think.

Nice lines, but the reflection on the bottom of the cake does draw my eye
away from the "action". Needs a little digital magic ;-)
