I too wanted to get the 1.25x, and thought that the two-pack would be
worth a chance, as the price wasn't that much more.
Don't bother. Contact wearers, or those without glasses won't benefit
either. I tried the 0.85, and put it away. I should throw it away,
but find it hard to throw things away that are brand new..
The 1.25x is fine, and I use it whenever I anticipate more 50mm+ shooting.
