The f/6.8 Telyts were supplied with either a Viso mount rear tube or
an 'R' tube. Finding a separate rear tube is quite difficult. If you
are looking for a 400/6.8 to buy, look for one with the Viso tube, as
you can always add an adapter to use that on an R. Also, there are
various adapters available to use the 400/6.8 Viso mount on Nikons
and Canons and other SLR's, whereas you can't mount the R version on
Nikons and still get infinity.
