Wayne,

The picture to me is interesting. But I can't really say whether or not
it works for me without some context. As a photo showing the capability
of Fuji 1600 I think it works very well. It's a nice image in difficult
lighting. Beyond that it leaves me with more questions than answers.

For me a really good stand alone image has to be complete. Like a
circle. It may not be a complete circle, but it leaves me with enough
info to complete the circle. I have a difficult time completing the
circle that says this guy is a loner. I'm just inclined to conclude that
it's a slow night. The photo doesn't feel lonely to me. The colors are
too lively. The colors are powerful.

This photograph reminds me of a documentary type image. It can support a
story, but it is not itself complete. FWIW

To all,

I have mixed emotions about this photograph. I would appreciate your
help.

A. Does the picture work? Why?

B. Does the picture not work? Why?
