were collecting the pictures from "skin books" apparently discarded by GIs.
They were displayed on walls in homes....
I had a shot of a barbershop that was wallpapered with foldouts.

The store sells Limited Edition T-Shirts, Hats, Belts, and also
selling Lomo and Polaroids. They put lots of customers' photograph
there.
Take notice on the polaroids in the picture.
