Jon, I saw him live, towards the end. What a thrill and a privilege.
I've got a cupboard full of his LPs made redundant by the other cupboard 
full of his CDs.

I Think Miles got $125 for recording the album "Kind of Blue" His sideman 
Coltrane, Wynton Kelly and other future legends got
$75....
