Subject: [Leica] hiring assistants, taxes, and the like

so .... i had a really big job recently for which i had to hire an 
assistant, and i'll have to do it again in the next couple of months. what 
are the tax things that i need to take care of?  is there a "form 10-221b 
photo assistant"??
 
back when i was cool, people were knocking themselves out to intern with me 
for free ("interning" usually meant getting sent out to get gin) now i have 
to pay people.
