For Joe ........... corkage is a rare feature (to my knowledge, found only in Britain and its colonies and ex-colonies), of usually small restaurants, interested in the quality of their food and obtaining a sensible margin for it, rather than extracting further sums from its clientelle for stocking wines and serving them.
