Subject: [Leica] Zeiss Planar 50/2 vs. latest Summicron 50/2

Which to buy? What are the relevant relative strengths and weaknesses
of each. For B&W? For color? Bokeh?

Anyone done a head to head comparison? Or just subjective opinions?

Pricewise (a factor for me), a used current and minty Summicron 50/2 with
it's built in shade (eyes on a chrome one) should probably cost me a
little less
than a new Planar 50/2 with it's somewhat expensive bayonet shade.

But cost aside....

Thanks!

Scott
