Small lights in macro photography become very large lights compared to
the subject. At 1:1 an SF20 becomes the equivalent of a 5 foot light on
a full figure. To get maximum light control in a macro universe requires
things like fiber-optics which allow you to light a subject with
complete control of highlights and shadows in the tiny macro universe.
