Not sure about 'better', but certainly different - as an expat Brit I
love it over here, even tho' it rained for most of Paddy's Day this
year, and is another 'soft day' today.
There's a pub up at Shannonbridge, Co. Offaly, which we call into
often when we're cruising on the majestic Shannon. It's half shop and
half pub, and does a great trade in snake sticks to keep the Irish
reptiles away. It also boasts a sign for the benefit of its German
clientele saying 'Please note Irish Mist is a drink over here'.
Anyway, Chris, glad you enjoyed your last trip over, and make it over
again soon.
Best
Alex
