[Leica] Canon Mirror Hitting Leica R Lens

I just followed up a question posed here a few days ago. I use a 
novoflex adaptor, they say the R19 is incompatible but a member of 
another group has modified his to fit. It would not be difficult to 
measure the requirement using mirror lockup and a vernier calliper.
