that the Leica M will be more than pushing the limit of quality for the size
sensor being used. Yes, if the M was a full-frame camera delivering the
image quality of the 1DS, you might well see my kids go on the block - you'd
certainly see my M film bodies, and Nikon bodies and lenses fly out the door
- probably along with my Rollei 6008 2 1/4 and my Leica M 90 Summicron. ;-)
But I expect a less-than-full frame sensor to sell for a price similar to
that of the new Canon MkII - not a 1DS.

So if, in a year or three, Leica digital M can deliver a "fine 11 mpixel
image with M glass for a street price of $7,000" we can watch your 3 kids go
on the auction block. Do I have that right? ;-)
