It almost surely misread the format, and it needs a very specific
algorithm to not do that, as the Fuji uses a non-rectilinear array
for its sensor. In essence its sensor array is at 45 degrees, and in
its own software it uses that to interpolate its files. That's why,
with a 6mp sensor it produces 12mp files. I doubt that Ed Hamrick of
Vuescan is privy to Fuji's algorithms, and thus is not able to
extract the information Fuji intended to be available.
