Subject: [Leica] OT: 4000ED misbehaving
If anyone used a Nikon 4000ED I'd sure appreciate some thoughts since it's the
back-end of my Digital-Leica ensemble and is misbehaving.
First Indication of Trouble: film strips inserted are rejected immediately and a
flashing green status light is displayed when a scan is requested.
Using the single-slide adapter and the metal film strip adapter I can scan a
single frame.
Software is up to date and VueScan gives the same behavior. So I'm thinking it's
a scanner problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
No error messages reported although VueScan does give an error about auto focus.
I'd GREATLY appreciate any suggestions. I've tried the Nikon web site but it
wasn't much of a help.
