The lever on the bottom with the single and double dots is for single or
multiple exposure on a frame. The other connection on the back is for the
electronic release cable.

Hi all,
I've just bought myself a Motor Winder R for my R7 and, as usual with used
items, it didn't have an instruction book.
I eventually worked out that you have to press the "Motor Winder R" label
to
release the battery holder but I haven't been able to work out a couple of
things:
1. What is the lever at the base of the winder - it has two positions, one
marked with a single dot and the other with two dots?
2. What is the socket at the back of the winder - it has a screw cover and
is marked with a single dot?
Regards,
Joe Chan
