What lenses have this step? From what I have heard, the ROM lenses are the
only ones that cannot be used/coupled to the SL and SL2. If you modify
these for the SL and SL2, you loose the ROM features.

An R-only bayonet has a step surrounding the bayonet claw that prevents the
more adventurous among us from mounting it on a Leicaflex.
