For people who want to shoot with a manual SLR, that duality is a terrific feature - not so much to be able to switch in the middle of a shoot, but to be able to hang onto, and keep using your film equipment at the same time you migrate to digital.

Also the only digiSLR that can also handle film as appropriate (except for the Sinar M, which qualifies as even more amazingly unique than the latest Alpa offering).
