FYI to marc and all-
    I have been using the 'new' P-Shop Raw File plug in (110.00 dollars for
a disk, 99.00 download) and it works very well with Nikon D1x RAW files.
Very easy to use - esp. the color temperature settings. I made some shots of
a laboratory interior that someone needed ASAP - made colors look absolutely
perfect.
