Actually, Yes. In Texas the Dallas County Sales Tax is a quarter percent
higher than Collin County Sales tax which is right next door. We have the
same situation here in Iowa, just about every county has a different tax
rate.

Is there actually anywhere that has a "local" sales tax (as opposed to
state) on retail goods (not hotels)?
