do we know when and by who the new viewfinders will be available for
transplanting?? i would love to know as I would like to make the change to
my one month old M6TTL.

Apparently Leica is putting the new viewfinders (the ones you'll find in
the
MP) in all the new M7 cameras. Not sure when they started doing that, but
there are definitely cameras that have already been shipped that have them
,
and which serial numbers were the first with the new viewfinder, but that
should be "checkable," and yes, you will be able to do a transplant on the
finder window, I'm told by reputable sources. ;-)
