Yeah, I've heard the same speculation from camera stores (that have some
advance information).

I'm hoping for a digital around the F80 or F100 bracket. The 2000 Euros
would fit there.

According to my friend at the camera store, he was at an information
meeting with one of the biggies and they (the biggies) admitted: The
market for digital simply caught them off-guard. They had just not planned
for all the pros AND all the consumers going over to digital so fast. Now
they want to play catch-up. Good news for us.
