The big monster itself has a 1000mm/3.5, and according to the only 
Leitz brochure I have about this IIIs projector, there even was a 
1300mm lens, most likely also 3.5 (since the episcopic projection is 
so highly inefficient (reflective)).
Yes, that's 30cm lens diameter on mine....too heavy to lift it to 
chest-height....8-))
