Hi Tina, well in response to my note Ami writes
Thanks for writing. I use digital for much of the work-- the Nikon D1x is
phenomenal. Sometimes the latitude between highlights and shadows is better
than on any kind of film. I also shoot Fuji negative film for some clients.
I think I use Superia and not the professional film because I am in very hot
locations for long periods and the colors on professional films might go
off. But basically my rule is that I do not even bother shooting in mid
afternoon light if I do not have to. The key is waking up early or waiting
until the sun sets. The light is just amazing in some of the places I work.
India is particularly stunning because its so polluted and Africa is dusty
so the colors can also be amazing. I love Africa because the light is so
moody.
So her appearance on the agfa site may be "misleading". Certainly
excellent work
