Subject: RE: [Leica] Order restored - NOW LaCrosse THE greates game on Earth

A true American sport - originated with American Indians - or are they
Native Americans this week?;-), particularly, I believe, Iroquois,
Algonquins, etc. In addition to Syracuse, Navy, little Washington College -
in Chestertown, MD - have long been powerhouses. Sport is big in Middle
Atlantic area. Wonderfully fast, wild, tough sport.

Who played briefly and poorly in the days when the sticks were made of
hickory, and the netting was gut and rawhide - which was why one would use a
baseball, neatsfoot oil, and popsicle sticks to shape the pocket.:-)

You're all missing it - the greatest field sport going - LaCrosse. Never
heard of it until I moved to Syracuse which turns out to the be the home of
one of the Collegiate powerhouses in this sport. Great game - fast paced.
Can be down 5 goals and 2 minutes later ahead by two. I have been told that
LaCrosse not hockey is the National Sport of Canada - any Canucks want to
verify. Now back to your regular programed ranting.
