I don't see many names on cameras.
I really cant think of one instance which I'm out shooting with a
photographer and they had their name on their camera.
Not that i could see at least.

Think of this.
The bad guys see your name your camera. They know who you are. What
other cameras are sitting there in your apartment waiting for them now
to come get?
Or they'll hit you later.

I left a camera on a Chicago bus and not in a great neighborhood. I call
the then CTA. They had it. I came and got it.
No name was necessary
Just a minor miracle.
