Well...maybe a digital R, but I doubt it. I'd bet instead on the demise of
the R line - that equipment is being given away for free - almost - on the
used market. As much as some people on this list love it, there just isn't a
sufficient market out there for a high-priced "mechanical" SLR - okay,
non-autofocus, etc. - with high priced glass...IMHO...And I also doubt that
there is a market out there for an expensive digital SLR with manual
focus....which means that Leica would have to start from scratch with a new
autofocus lens and body line....and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for
that...
