Old family tradition. Home made barbeque sauce.
1 large onion, sliced thin and broken into rings.
2 qts of good quality commercial BBQ sauce
1 Six pack of decent beer
Place one bottle of BBQ sauce in large pot.
Heat to slow simmer on stove or grill.
Add 1/2 can of beer to sauce. Stir.
Add 1/2 can of beer to cook.
Begin grilling meat.
Add 1/2 can of beer to sauce
Add 1/2 can of beer to cook......
By the time you are done both the meat and the cook
are well sauced.....
