hmmmm.... why am I not surprised it was B. D. who contributed this to the discussion???  Whether it's "the best solution" is debatable.  It is one solution many people have used.  Another solution which I prefer is the aged-eye-friendly viewfinder of the SL.  "The best"??  There's no such thing as a universal, one-size-fits-all "best".
