Subject: Re: [Leica] Help! R8 and 3 Cam Lens Question

The R8's 3.4 readout is "normal" for the 280/2.8 APO telyt-R set at
2.8. It can be corrected, I was told by a Leica technician, by the
installation of a ROM strip. But because my R8 meters and
functions properly with this lens at maximum aperture and because
the lens itself is such a behemoth to pack and ship, I haven't
bothered to have the work done.
