Hello Deniz,
You're quite right, there are a lot of strange colored Leicas around.
I've seen some, and the blue one, I believe the 'Bruckner' model, is
quite weird.
I've met Shintaro, the guy who paints Leicas, and seen some of his
work up close. He does a very good job, and the black paint ones look
very elegant in my opinion. I think he has painted some purple and
green as well, but his main business is black. Don't hand him
anything you don't want painted! ;-)
