On his web site (old store) he advertises - open by appointment only. I
problem that I have with many of the photo equipment stores is that they are
closed on Saturday and open on Sunday. Tamarkin is a rare exception. I had
gone into Tamarkin on a Saturday morning to buy a Ballhead as I had
inadvertently left mine at home. Rather than spend the time and money to go
back and get it (96 mi. at .32/mi. + tolls adds up) I decided to see if
tamarkin had one. They had one, @$189 and none that were "pre-owned".
Needless to say I decided to photo without the Tripod. I asked if there
were any other equipment stores open and they mentioned that there were a
lot open on Sunday, but none other that they knew of that was open on
Saturday.

Regards,
