    Unless, I'm mistaken the Feininger photo you are referring to is the one
of the photographer holding a Leica IIIF w/ a 50mm Summarit up to his face.
    The subject is Dennis Stock, now a Magnum photographer.
    He was a winner in a past LIFE Magazine photography contest, which is
why he was photographed.
