AFAIK, it is still available, in diesel form, for the VW van ("Eurovan"). VW/Audi also offers a V5 engine in Europe which is a V6 (aka "VR6") with one of the cylinders missing.
The five cylinder engine design was also used by Honda in the Acura Vigor model and by Mercedes for a while (also in diesel form).
