Andrew,

You speek of shooting 100 speed film.  I shoot Tri-X, a flash out side on a
sunny day is simply not an option with the M6.  With the F5 I could pull it
off, 1/250 @ f/22.  The flash does not reach real far, but at least it can
be used!

	I guess I should have appended "to me" but I figured that was
implied.

	Maybe you don't run into it with magazine work (not sure what sort
of
	situation you're shooting in) but I've found that even with 100
speed film
	on a bright day, when I want to use fill flash I need to be shooting
down
	at f/11 just to be on the upper edge of the M6 sync range.  And at
that
	aperture, the flash batteries don't last long.
