50mm f/2 Summicron is, quite possibly, the most useful M lens you can own.
Pesonally, I use a 25mm Skopar, 35mm Summicron, 50mm Summicron-DR, and 90mm
skinny Tele-Elmarit. The 50mm and 35mm see the most use, followed by the
25mm, and lastly the 90mm (which only gets put on once in a blue moon). If
I could have only one camera and lens, it would be a early Leica III with a
nickel 50 f/3.5 Elmar. Leicas and 50s were made for each other.
