Mark,
    Leica USA can add a pin to your 50mm Summilux-M for about $90.00. A long
time ago, I stole this idea from David Douglas Duncan.
    The pin is a thumb screw from a bellows attachment and works very well.
I had mine position so then the pin is at the six o'clock position, the lens
is focused at eight feet.
