[Leica] kick BRIAN DAVID STEVENS off the list!

ah HA! CAUGHT! in the ACT!

i have EVIDENCE right here that brian david stevens is using his leica to
take PHOTOGRAPHS and thereby causing WEAR and TEAR which will lead to
DEVALUATION of the camera. he seems also to be the nefarious sort who has
probably thrown his leitz box, front caps and packing material into the
garbage.

if this were not bad enough, he has AUGMENTED his crime. he has also
placed his leica into DANGEROUS situations where it could have
been harmed by angry protesters or rained upon or had cracker crumbs 
dropped within it's workings.

i'm sure this is not the type of person nor the type of message we need to
see on the LUG. mr stevens, if you continue in this manner, we will have
no choice but to inform solms and have your cameras revoked. if you want
to take pictures, please do not tarry yourself to some other brand, nikon,
or canon, or one of the other inferior makes. leicas are for closets and
display cabinets. mine, for example, are in a hermetically (or is that
hermaphrodically?) sealed "clean room" protected by halon gas. There is a
crystal viewing panel which you can use (with low light of course) to view
the cameras. every year on oscar barnak's birthday, they are sent to
sherry krauter for a CLA, she wears surgical gloves during the procedure
so that no finger oils get on the cameras. (why all this CLA'ing you may
ask, go ahead and ask, i keep wondering myself.)

not only has he comitted the above crimes, but he's showing us all up.
his photographs are quite good. this spins me off the most.

i suggest that we invoke "LUG punnishment #16" on mr. stevens
immediately. someone get the black tape, someone get the tilly hat. i'll
be right here with the scotch.
