It is sad but true that most photographic equipment prices are significantly
cheaper in New York than in most other locations. This is probably due to a
confluence of supply and competition. Photographers working in this area use
their equipment hard and replace it often. Anyone intending to buy a
selection of used equipment might save a bundle if they visit this area
during the next World Series (held every three years in Gotham) and go on a
shopping spree. Your wife will probably enjoy her own shopping spree too.
