Mitch,
        The layout problems are probably from too much photogapher
interference.
        For an interesting Magnum book try Rusell Miller's "Magnum- Fifty
Years at the Front Lines of History." It is an offical/unofficial biography
of the agency. Nothing terribly new, but a very good look into this agency
with some of the finest photographers anywhere in the world, and the biggest
bunch of cry babies ever.
        The book is a hoot.
