Yes, but then it just wouldn't be German! The Teutonic way has
always been different and that's some of the charm of Leica.
The Japanese auto manufacturers say, "How would you like your
auto seats?" They make every effort to accommodate your
desires. The Germans, by comparison, say, "you vill sit this way
und you vill like it!" American manufacturers put out a very
useable product with no personality, and a moderate amount of
discomfort to all.
(Apologies to all. I've certainly tried to offend everybody!)
