Either way works, if it works for you. But I find an extra meter just more
junk to carry around, and antithetical to the M6 aesthetic. I can meter in
the toughest conditions with my M6 and come away with great exposures, but
I won't pretend it didn't come without some practice and getting to know
the meter.
