Thinking about the Tri-Elmar, which conveniently offers three focal-lengths
in one handy lens, I thought of another accessory Leica could build which
would be very convenient:

    A 1.5X tele-converter

By carrying three lenses (24mm, 50mm, and 90mm) and a 1.5X converter,
you could cover a complete range:

    24mm X 1.5 ~= 35mm
    50mm X 1.5  = 75mm
    90mm X 1.5  = 135mm

As far as I know, Leica has never produced an M tele-converter.
