I need help figuring out what I have here: the screw-in chrome eyecup that
supposedly was on my M5 with what seems to be a one element convex on both
surfaces lens. I didn't need it with the M5 and now the M5 is gone!
Is this a correction eyepiece? Did they have a magnifier available on
these? It doesn't seem to make any sense on an SLR and not even on a
monocular I have handy here.
