The zoom IS superb. . .and what you get for what you pay is:
constant 2.8 and, according to PopPhoto tests, the best
they've tested. . .B&H sells it for $ 1,289 new. (You can get a superb
35-105 for less than $300 used). . .and so on. . .good glass for reasonable
prices.
